After a one month blockage at the customs, two days ago we received the physical model of the airport. Due to the extreme temperature, the petroleum based parts of the model lose their flexibility and bumped to the limit. Some of them indeed was fractured, if you’re lucky you can spot them from the photos. Now i fix them all, there are thing that i can’t do but for the rest they seem ok. 

This is a photo from the autopark, it’s a very common stereotype for the autoparks, here they always do the same shader for cars. 

A monumental entrance like in all kitschy projects. Resembling the same geometrical shape for all airport projects. I guess the first time that i have seen geometries was from Calatrava. 

I really like this photo it’s so cute, i can’t remember the name of this photo style but it was a model photo stereotype. When i remember i will edit here. 

Common roundabouts from Saudi Arabia, these are really a pain the ass in the traffic because there is no traffic rule here. A couple of days before, we go to times around it because we could not turn to the way we want. People are driving like crazy it’s hard to anticipate what will they do next. 

These are Hajj Pavilions, they are for the people who comes for hajj, a series of temporary buildings. There are five of them and all of them has membranes, air conditioners will be cooling inside, wall will be from drywall or block wall i’m not sure about that. 

Yeah, that’s the Mosque, which was positioned in a wrong angle for Mecca. It was 6 degrees or something, they now fixed the foundation and they are continuing the constructions. Was a big mess when they found out that it’s not facing the right direction for Mecca. 

This is a photo from the first section model. I did not checked but it was a 1:50 scaled section representation. This is the Terminal Buildings entrance. 

As always, i really don’t say anything about designs in a negative way especially when i reconsider the county that i work now. Yes you should have laughed now, whatever. This steel structure is based on a Palm Tree as every other thing here . Designs still based on things like hey this county has apples, lets make them an apple airfield. 

Rhinoceros için geçenlerde otomatik sandalye yazma programı aklıma geldi, çünkü çizim lerden sonra tefriş yaparken hep importlayıp o şekilde kopyalayarak kullanmak zorunda kalıyordum. Üstelikte kullandığım sandalyeler üç boyutlu highly customised sandalyeler olduğundan içerisindeki polygon sayıları fazlasıyla yüksekti. Hatta bu yüzden bazı sandalye tiplerinde görüntüde 10 sandalye olduğunda quadro 4000 ekran kartım bile kurtaramıyor durumu. Reduce mesh ile bu modelleri oturup insancıl boyutlara düşürdüğümde detayları istediğim kadar kullanabildim. Fakat yinede ihtiyacım olmayan bir fazlalığı istemediğime karar verdim geçen hafta. Dolayısıyla olabilecek en basit sandalyeyi ve masayı 3d materyalsiz bir şekilde tek bir tuş ile tıpkı otocad kullanır gibi rhinoceros’un içerisinde bir tool set ile kullanmak istediğime karar verdim. 

Rhinoscript ile araştırmalarıma başladım, python script ve c++ ile java ya baktıktan sonra rhinoscript ile devam etmek istedim. Çok ayrıntıya girmeden mimar kızların anlayacağı şekilde anlatayım, rhinoscript bu iş için uygun göründü fakat pseudo kodunu yazdığım programcık için daha çok zaman harcamam gerektiği için hileye başvurdum. Macro yaptım. Macrolar dünyanın en basit programı, aslında buna program diyerek zaten yeterince küfür yemişimdir şuanda. Basit bir komut dizisi otomatik olarak tek aktivasyon ile harekete geçen dizi işlemler denilebilir buna. Mcroların bir diğer özelliği oldukça aptal olmaları, yani komutları ve ne yapacaklarını siz bileceksiniz bu biraz Tarkan’ın mağaradaki kör hali gibi. 

- Ha , tamam rectangle o koordinatlara çizildi, şimdi bir bağıl koordinat girelim  tamam tam oraya bir extrude bir trim. Sonra son yapılanları secip arrayledim mi işte bu be.

Benim otomatik masa ve sandalye yapım sistemim bu şekilde çalışıyor. Kullanmak isterseniz oturup bir deneyin. Türkler için bunu kopyalamak çalmak kendiniz yapmış gibi göstermeniz serbest. Nede olsa prof’larınızdan birine ya bu makalede ne demek istediniz dediğinizde bile, 10 dk boyunca bir a4 sayfayı okuyup ya burda ne demek istediğimi bende anlamadım şimdi diyenleri var. Çünkü aslında orda birşey denilmek istenmedi, sadece demiş gibi görünmek istendi o kadar. 

Hatta bu yüzden şimdi yukardaki koda bir bilmece koyacam, onu bulabilecek zekaya sahip olanlar kullansın sadece.
